Design fee - from as little as £500
As we do not mass produce identical websites from a template, we do not have a set price for designing a website. Each site is tailored to your needs and budget. As a guide, however, we can provide a website of similar complexity to our own for as little as £500. This is not a yearly charge, but a one-off design fee that inlcudes:
- Unique design to suit your business
- Up to 10 pages
- An emailed feedback form for visitors (if desired)
- Basic image editing of digital pictures eg. cropping/re-sizing photos
- Your choice of domain name and email address
- Testing with the most popular browsers
- Submission to major search engines like Google
- First year of hosting and maintenance (see below)
Features that would involve additional costs or a higher design fee - which will always be agreed in advance - include:
- More than 10 pages
- More than 1 emailed feedback form
- Other interactive items such as drop-down menus, dynamic photo galleries, visitor forums and embedded video files
- Content management systems
- Custom made graphics (such as logos or maps) or sophisticated photo-editing work
- Us drafting the text content for the webpages in accordance with your instructions

As we are not VAT registered, we do not charge VAT. The price we quote is the price you pay.

Annual hosting and maintenance fee
As mentioned above, the first year's hosting and maintenance is free when we provide you with a new design costing £500 or more. For standard sites we charge £100 a year thereafter to:
- Host your website on fast, reliable servers
- Maintain your domain name on your behalf
- Provide email forwarding or a private mailbox as required
- Make minor updates to your website as you request them
Where sites have additional features such as embedded video, forums or content management systems which place a greater load on the server a higher maintenance fee will be charged. This fee will be quoted individually for relevant sites in accordance with their particular demands on the server.
Minor updates cover most changes to the content of your website such as changing phone numbers, prices or photos for example. Our annual hosting and maintenance fee covers up to twelve such minor updates per year, with no more than two in any calendar month.
Design changes such as altering logos, layout, menus or adding new pages will be quoted individually.
